    Jerry & Robin Richardson of Pittsboro, NC are the owners & operators of Maple View Mobile (MVM) and Circle City Ice Cream, (CCIC) MVM was established in 2011 and CCIC was established in September of 2023. 

    MVM distributed “locally produced Maple View Farm products from 2011 until Maple View Dairy closed their dairy farm in September 2021. Fortunately, Maple View County Store continued operation in producing and selling Maple View Ice Cream. In addition to Maple View Ice Cream, in September 2021, MVM began distributing N.C. based milk products from Simply Natural Creamery located in Pitt County, N.C. Both, Maple View Farm & Simply Natural Creamery are local North Carolina family owned & operated farms.

    We specialize in bringing North Carolina farm products, “Direct from the farm to you”. MVM has delivery routes serving select developments in Chatham, Durham & Orange counties, NC.  In addition to home delivery, MVM offers ice cream catering to churches, businesses, universities and individuals throughout central North Carolina. MVM has methods in place to serve several hundred cups of ice cream in a short period of time or we can provide our services to a small group and take as much time as you wish. 

    After operating an "ice cream kiosk" for several years at University Place in Chapel Hill, Jerry & Robin decided to focus on securing a fixed location close to their Chatham County, NC home. This became a reality in fall of 2023 when Circle City Ice Cream opened its doors at 21 W. Chatham Street, Pittsboro, NC. Circle City Ice Cream is a unique ice cream shop specializing in hand dipped ice cream from Maple View (locally sourced) and Blue Bell, (national brand out of Texas). At Circle City you will find 16 flavors of hand dipped ice cream as well as shakes, malted shakes, sundaes, banana splits, many types of cones as well as many flavors of floats.
